Just in time for Leap Day tomorrow, we found an extraordinary cliffside retreat in Malibu that’s perfect for jumping into the ocean.

Super Rich Star Island

Some of the more amazing features of the $39.95 million property include: 255 feet of frontage on Biscayne Bay, two amazing private docks, a boat lift, outdoor swimming pool and cabana, pleasing decks and patios, extensive landscaping with a private-entrance brick drive, and stunning views of Miami Beach.

46 Star Island Drive on Miami’s Star Island is listed with Dora Puig of Luxe Living Realty.

It’s not often that we are stopped in our tracks by luxury real estate, having been in some of the most expensive and utterly over-the-top homes in America, but 46 Star Island Drive on Star Island in Miami certainly gives us at least a second or two of pause.

Currently listed for $39.95 million, the 1.4-acre lot comprises a property that was built back in 1923 by real estate developer Carl Fisher –who, among a great many other things, developed Miami Beach, Montauk and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Some of the more amazing features include: 255 feet of frontage on Biscayne Bay, two amazing private docks, a boat lift, outdoor swimming pool and cabana, pleasing decks and patios, extensive landscaping with a private-entrance brick drive, and stunning views of Miami Beach.

The house has been on the market for a little over three years, first entering at $65 million back in November of 2016. Renovated numerous times, it now stands at 20,000 square feet and comprising 40 rooms, including 10 bedrooms, 10-full-and-two-half baths (at least one of which looks to be full-on marble); a 3,000-bottle wine cellar; home theater; fitness room; two separate staff quarters areas, complete with living rooms, kitchens, etc.

Public records show that the current owner purchased the property for approximately $1.83 million back in 1987. No matter what price it ends up trading for, it looks to be a pretty significant return on investment.

Notable Star Island homeowners include Sean “Diddy” Combs, Gloria and Emilio Estefan, Don Johnson, Rosie O’Donnell and Shaquille O’Neal.

Given the amount of stunning luxury homes that we’ve been fortunate enough to visit and write about, it’s not often that we can say that we are truly blown away by something new. But we gotta say it now. Woweee! The soon-to-be-constructed condos at West Water Street in Sag Harbor have us absolutely gobsmacked!

Designed by J. Bialsky, the thoughtfully designed waterfront homes have it all, and then some. Priced in the $20-plus million neighborhood, and represented by Bespoke Real Estate, are four levels of fabulous luxe living all right in the heart of highly desirable Sag Harbor Village. Comprising three separate residences, the condos at 2 West Water Street offer luxury waterfront real estate at its best.

For the sake of brevity, we’ll use the details for 2 West Water Street Residence C, which comes with an approximate $23.5 million price tag. For the record, Residence A has already been sold. Residence B is still available. It’s slightly larger (seven bedrooms and eight baths) and is priced at approximately $24.5 million.

Back to Residence C, which features 11,058 square feet; two boat (ahem, yacht) slips; 250 feet of frontage; rooftop terrace with pool, plus other living-area terraces complemented by floor-to-ceiling windows offering spectacular views; 4-car underground parking, which is a big deal in Sag Harbor; expertly curated interiors; elevator; six bedrooms and six baths. In addition to the sweeping sunset views, residents will be able to (one day) enjoy the spoils of adjacent Steinbeck Park, which is being planned by renowned landscape architect Edmund Hollander.
